Sandra Vaughan

Psychotherapist

Sandra works from a Humanistic perspective, focusing on how early experiences and learned patterns of behaviour shape who we are and how we feel about ourselves today. Her approach is grounded in the belief that through awareness and self-exploration, we can create meaningful change in our lives.

Sandra values the therapeutic relationship as a unique and powerful space, an opportunity to explore your inner world alongside someone who is impartial, supportive, and fully present. She brings empathy, honesty, and respect to her work, creating a safe environment where clients can reflect and grow.

Before working as a psychotherapist, Sandra spent over 20 years in a corporate role. Her first-hand experience of managing the pressures of a demanding career while raising a family gives her a deep understanding of the complexities many people face in balancing personal and professional life.

Sandra began her journey at Spectrum in 2008 for personal development and went on to complete her professional training there in 2011. She is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and continues to engage in ongoing professional development.
